APA 7 changed enough that older guides will hurt your grade. The big updates: no publisher location for books, single-space the title page header, use 'they' as a singular pronoun, and DOIs are URLs (https://doi.org/...). For in-text citations use (Author, Year) for paraphrasing and (Author, Year, p. X) for direct quotes. References are double-spaced with hanging indent. Always italicize journal titles and book titles, not article titles. The most-missed rule?
